How does Post Affiliate Pro work?

Post Affiliate Pro is an advanced affiliate marketing tracking software that helps businesses create and run their affiliate programs. It offers robust tools for tracking affiliate-driven traffic and conversions, enabling companies to monitor and reward affiliates effectively. The software supports various commission structures, offers detailed reporting tools, and integrates seamlessly with many e-commerce platforms.

Post Affiliate Pro provides a panel for each merchant and affiliate, and a mini-site containing the login and signup forms & quick pre-set pages, where you can publicly share details about your affiliate program, commission rates, terms & conditions, and so on.

Who is a merchant?

A merchant is the creator/owner or manager of the affiliate program who configures and manages the system, sets up campaigns, defines commission rates, creates promo material for the affiliates, oversees the reports, and pays out the affiliates for the referred traffic.

Who is an affiliate?

An affiliate is a person or organization that promotes your company's products or services in exchange for a commission. Affiliates use various marketing strategies to drive traffic and sales to your company's website. When a sale or a specific action (e.g. a new account signup) is done as a result of their efforts, they earn a commission in the form of a percentage of the transaction's price or a fixed amount.

Affiliates can be assigned to groups, in which they are entitled to different commission rates than others. This can be managed using the Commission groups feature. Assigning to commission groups can be managed automatically based on various criteria using the Performance rewards feature.

What is a commission?

A commission is compensation attributed to the affiliate for referred traffic.

What is a campaign?

A campaign primarily serves to outline the form and amount in which affiliates are compensated for their promotional efforts. A campaign allows the merchant to define the commission rates for clicks, sales, impressions (views of banners), or custom actions (signups, leads, etc.). Having multiple campaigns allows merchants to define different commission rates for different products.

What is a commission structure?

Commission structure is a system that defines how affiliates are compensated for their promotional efforts. It defines the rates by which the affiliates' commissions are calculated.

What are multi-tier commissions?

Multi-tier commissions allow affiliates to get compensation not only for their promotional efforts, but also for the traffic referred by the affiliates they recruited - their sub-affiliates. This tiered system provides additional income opportunities.

How the multi-tier commissions work:

1st tier: The affiliate earns a commission from traffic they referred directly.
2nd tier (and higher): The parent affiliate earns a commission also from the traffic generated by sub-affiliates they have brought into the affiliate program.
