After everything is configured and integrated, it’s important to test the system to make sure it’s working as intended.
Simulate the process from both the affiliate and merchant perspectives:
1. Sign up as a test affiliate. After approval, you should receive a confirmation email to set your password and log in to the affiliate panel.
2. Log in to the affiliate panel, get the general affiliate link or banner code and place it on a test page.
3. Click on the affiliate link or banner and check if your click is recorded in Transactions > Clicks list in your merchant panel or in Reports > Clicks list in affiliate panel. The click may take up to 15 minutes to appear.
4. Make a test purchase and check if the commission is recorded in Transactions > Commissions. Again, allow up to 15 minutes for the commission to appear.
If you don’t see the click or sale after 15 minutes, please contact us via email (support@postaffiliatepro.com) or on live chat and provide us with the destination URL of your banner/link so we can test it by ourselves to see where the problem is.
